Welcome to VIHAAN: DOOMSDAY, organized by the Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda. By accessing our website, creating an account, or registering for any competitive event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and all 27 General Guidelines of the fest.

01.Event Participation Binding Agreement

Registration for VIHAAN: DOOMSDAY constitutes a binding legal agreement between the participant (or team) and the Fest Organizing Committee of Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda.

Participants agree to abide by all event-specific rules, timing constraints, evaluation criteria, and general guidelines published on the official brochure and website.
The decision of judges, evaluators, and faculty coordinators is absolute, definitive, and binding on all participants. No appeals or external contestations will be entertained.
English is the mandatory official medium of communication for all formal presentations, stress rounds, and case submissions (Rule #27).

02.Eligibility & Institutional Criteria

A. Eligible Candidates

Participation is open exclusively to bona fide Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students currently enrolled in recognized colleges, management institutes, or universities.

B. Host College Exclusion (Rule #2)

Students of the host college (Christ College Autonomous, Irinjalakuda) are strictly non-eligible to participate in any competitive events.

• Physical College ID Card Mandatory: Every participant must present an original, valid college identity card at the security gate and registration desk (Rule #7). Failure to produce a valid ID will result in denied entry with no refund.

• Team Integrity: All members of a team must belong to the same college/institution (Rule #4). Cross-college teams are strictly disallowed.

• Registration Slot Cap: An individual participant may register for a maximum of 20 total event slots across the fest (Rule #26).

03.Registration Fees & Payment Processing

Event registration fees must be paid in full through the Razorpay payment gateway enabled on the website.

Designated Group Leaders: For team events, the group leader initiates registration, makes the applicable payment on behalf of the team, and acts as the official point of contact (Rule #3).
Non-Refundable Policy: In accordance with brochure Rule #6, all registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances including cancellations, voluntary withdrawals, scheduling clashes, or no-shows. Full terms are outlined in our Refund Policy.
Spot Registration: Spot registration on November 19, 2026, is subject to venue capacity and seat availability and will be declared on the day of the fest (Rule #5).

04.Code of Conduct & Immediate Disqualification

Christ College maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct, indiscipline, or unlawful behavior on campus premises. The organizing committee reserves the right to immediately disqualify and remove any individual or team without refund for:

Malpractice & Plagiarism: Copying content, pre-made assets, or cheating in aptitude/trading rounds.

Contraband Substances: Possession or consumption of alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, or drugs on campus (Rule #19).

Identity Obfuscation: Providing fake credentials, impersonation, or revealing college identity during anonymous rounds (Rule #25).

Indiscipline & Property Damage: Disrespectful behavior towards judges, coordinators, campus security, or vandalism of college property (Rule #17).

05.Intellectual Property & Media Rights

• Idea Pitch Ownership (Rule #24): All intellectual property, startup prototypes, business plans, and proprietary pitches presented during the Idea Pitch event remain the exclusive intellectual property of the respective participants.

• Media & Promotional Rights: By attending and participating in VIHAAN: DOOMSDAY, participants grant Christ College (Autonomous) and the Department of Management Studies the perpetual, royalty-free right to capture photographs, video footage, and audio recordings of performances, presentations, and award ceremonies for institutional media, social channels, official websites, newsletters, and promotional highlights.

06.Schedule Alterations, Logistics & Liability

Right to Modify Schedule (Rule #18): The organizing committee reserves the right to alter event schedules, venues, round formats, or prize structures if operational requirements or unforeseen situations demand.
Equipment & Materials (Rule #14): Participants are solely responsible for bringing their own laptops, calculators, presentation drives, and props required for their registered events. Christ College assumes no liability for damaged, lost, or misplaced electronic devices or personal belongings.
Travel & Lodging (Rule #20): Travel and accommodation arrangements are the sole responsibility of the participants unless officially arranged under special package agreements.

07.Governing Law & Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising out of or related to event registration, conduct, prizes, or operations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any legal proceedings or arbitration arising from participation in VIHAAN: DOOMSDAY shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Thrissur District, Kerala, India.
