Key Rule: Strictly No Refunds for Voluntary Withdrawals (Rule #6)
In alignment with General Guideline #6 of the official fest brochure, all event registration fees paid for VIHAAN: DOOMSDAY are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a slot is booked and confirmed, no refunds will be provided for participant cancellations, scheduling conflicts, transport delays, or no-shows.
01.Participant Cancellations & No-Shows
Event slots and judge allocations for VIHAAN: DOOMSDAY are strictly scheduled and capped in advance (such as the 16-participant limit for Best Manager). When a student or team registers, resources and logistical accommodations are committed immediately.
A. Voluntary Withdrawal
If a registered participant or team decides not to attend, the fee is forfeited with zero refund.
B. Schedule Clashes
Per Rule #21, participants are responsible for avoiding overlapping rounds. Clashes do not qualify for a refund.
C. Disqualification / No ID
Failure to produce a valid physical college ID (Rule #7) or ejection for misconduct carries no refund entitlement.
02.Unforeseen Event Cancellation by Organizers (Rule #23)
In the rare event of unforeseen circumstances, natural disruptions, extreme weather conditions, institutional emergencies, or force majeure causing the complete cancellation of a specific event or the fest itself:
• Organizer Discretion: The Fest Organizing Committee and Christ College Management reserve sole discretion regarding the rescheduling, format modification, or financial remediation of the affected event(s).
• Official Communication: Any official announcements regarding event rescheduling will be dispatched promptly via the registered email address and updated on the official website.
03.Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions (Razorpay)
Protection Against Multiple Charges
If an accidental double charge occurs due to network latency, bank gateway timeout, or browser reload during payment checkout:
Notify the fest support desk within 48 hours of the transaction at domschristvihaan26@gmail.com.
Provide your Registered Email, Name, Event Name, Razorpay Payment IDs, and Bank Reference / UTR screenshot.
Upon finance desk verification, the duplicate charge will be refunded within 5–7 working days directly to the original payment method via Razorpay.
04.Spot Registration & Fee Variations
Spot registration fees paid on the event day at the Christ College registration desk are strictly non-refundable. No price adjustments or retrospective discounts will be credited against earlier online registrations.
